Assignments Reaction

The assignments that I am most intrigued by for the semester are the readings and storytellings. Learning about different myths/folklore stories has been an intriguing topic to me for quite some time now and I am excited to have the resources available to me to delve deeper into so many new stories! Using the method of retelling the stories in my own way will also help me remember them more efficiently compared to if I was just reading the stories and moving on. Another part of the class that I am excited about it the many, many extra credit opportunities each week! Tech Tips, Wikipedia Trails, and Famous Last Words are the the extra credit options that most appealed to me after reading through the list.

This class is probably the most different one that I have taken so far at OU compared to my previous classes. This is because the assignments given are through an external website, a majority of the assignments are turned in via this personal blog, and there is a general, set weekly schedule for the whole semester. Although it may take a bit to get used to the class website and posting on this blog, I appreciate the scheduling of assignments and the overall setup of the class!
